“lip-smacking acidity that lifts and drives the wine in its finishing flourishes.” – Chrismont King Valley Riesling 2014

We have to agree with Tony Love that when it comes to enjoying Chrismont Riesling with fresh seafood “it’s the wine that does the work of the lemon or lime”…“Widely available, this little cool, high-country Victorian is seductively understated to start, its aromas a little subdued. There is perhaps a waft of distant bush florals and, yep, a typical little spray of cut lemons, but it is in the mouthfeel that we see its more finely tailored style and sculptured acidity with tangy lip-smacking acidity that lifts and drives the wine in its finishing flourishes.”
